Objection: We are looking for an energetic and self-motivated SEO Specialist to join our growing marketing department. A SEO Specialist utilizes various marketing practices to increase an organizations appearance in search engine results. The ideal candidate must be passionate about creating effective ways to promote, optimize, and analyze marketing efforts. They will be responsible for monitoring and analyzing the website’s organic data, content, collaborating with our development & marketing team, as well as conducting the keyword research to determine growth opportunities. The successful candidate will also have in-depth knowledge of marketing techniques and search engine marketing strategies

Essential Functions:

• SEO research and strategy development
• Onsite SEO implementation
• Site structure/internal link audits
• Keyword and content topic research
• Link building strategy and execution
• SEO site audit implementation
• Preparing detailed strategy reports
• Keeping updated with both white hat and black hat SEO strategies
• Compiling and presenting SEO guidelines

Competencies:

• Understanding of search engine algorithms and ranking methods
• Comfortable with analyzing high volumes of data daily
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Strong organizational, time management and analytical skills
• Up to date on Google policies and algorithms

Work Environment:

This job operates in an office environment and routinely uses standard office equipment.

Position Type/Expected hours worked:

This is a full-time position, and hours of work and days are Monday through Friday, between the hours of 7:00am and 6:00pm flexible start/end times).  Regular, punctual and consistent attendance is required

Desired Education and Experience:

1. Bachelor’s degree in business, marketing, information technology, or related field
2. 3+ years of experience in successfully developing and executing SEO campaigns
3. Experience in Google Analytics, Google Webmaster Tools & Search Console, AHREFS
4. Strong Range of Technical, On-Page, & Off-Page SEO
   • Programming in HTML, CSS or PHP
   • Database management software
   • Wordpress or other CMS
5. Prior experience in content marketing, content growth, SEO & SEM
6. Experience with website optimization tools
