Objective: Compliance Specialists are responsible for obtaining the required paperwork for Fusion travelers going to work in client facilities.  The Compliance Specialist ensures the traveler is compliant per Fusion and Client requirements.  The Compliance Specialist maintains frequent communication with the traveler and guides them through the new hire process.  Notifying both the traveler and the sales team of any missing or expiring traveler documents throughout the compliance process is central to the role of a Compliance Specialist.

Essential Functions:

  1. Assist new starts in the hire flow process
  2. Complete new hire files for external employees
  3. Monitor employee records/ compliance
  4. Notify sales team and travelers about missing, expired items
  5. Open, honest, and effective communication with sales team, billing/payroll, and travelers
  6. File paperwork into traveler’s employee file
  7. Assist in meeting all client requirements by requesting additional specs and questions on specs with the client
  8. Assure JCAHO compliance with all contract employees
  9. Efficient with Fusion and client protocols
  10. Knowledge of Candidate Credentials
  11. Responsible for VMS uploads
  12. Verify state licenses and other certifications
  13. Order drug test and other immunizations
  14. Responsible for the ongoing tracking of candidate credentials that should expire

Position Type/Expected hours worked:

This is a full-time position, and hours of work and days are Monday through Friday, 8:00 a.m. to 5 p.m. (flexible start/end times).  Regular attendance is required

Required Education and Experience:

  1. High school diploma or GED
  2. Customer Service skills
  3. Team oriented

Preferred Education and Experience:

  1. College Degree
  2. 1-year or more experience as a Compliance Specialist
  3. 2-years of equivalent work experience
  4. Medical Compliance
  5. Staffing industry experience
  6. Familiar with JACHO: Joint Commission on Accreditation of Healthcare Organizations
