Travel Radiologic Technologist   Company: Fusion Medical Staffing   Location: Facility in CITY, STATE   Job Details   Fusion Medical Staffing is seeking a skilled Rad Tech for a LENGTH week travel assignment in CITY, STATE. As a member of our team, you'll have the opportunity to make a positive impact on the lives of patients while enjoying competitive pay, comprehensive benefits, and the support of a dedicated clinical team.   Required Qualifications:   One year's experience as Radiologic Technologist Current Radiologic Technologist/ Radiography license in compliance with state regulations Current BLS Certification (AHA/ARC)   Preferred Qualifications:   Current ARRT Certification Other certifications or licenses may be required for this position   Summary:   The Radiologic Technologist performs advanced imaging procedures using radiographic equipment to produce high-quality images that aid physicians in diagnosing and treating medical conditions. They ensure patient safety, maintain equipment functionality, and collaborate with healthcare teams to deliver accurate and effective diagnostic results.     Essential Work Functions:   Educate patients about imaging procedures and answer questions if they arise Prepare and operate advanced radiologic equipment to capture high-quality diagnostic images according to physician orders Maintains equipment and sterilizes room in which procedure takes place Prepare and operate advanced radiologic equipment to capture high-quality diagnostic images according to physician orders Evaluates images for quality, present images and preliminary findings to physicians and health care team Maintain and inspect imaging equipment for proper functionality, troubleshooting issues and reporting malfunctions as needed Document all imaging procedures and technical details accurately in patient records. Follows hospital safety rules and procedures including infection control and radiation safety protocols Performs other duties as assigned within the scope of Radiologic Technologist practice   Required Essential Skills:   Critical thinking, service excellence and good interpersonal communication skills The ability to read, write, & communicate in the English language is required Ability to read/comprehend written instructions, follow verbal instructions, and proficiency in PC skills Physical Abilities - Remain in a stationary position, move about, move equipment (50-100lbs), pushing, pulling, bending Interpersonal Skills - To work effectively with a variety of personnel (professional and ancillary) to present a positive attitude and professionalism Technical/Motor Skills - Ability to grasp, fine manipulation, pushing/pulling and able to move about when assisting with procedures and/or using department equipment. Mental Requirements - Must be able to cope with frequent contact with the general public, customers, and meeting deadlines under pressure. Must be able to work under close supervision occasionally as well as working without assistance from other personnel. Must be able to contend with irregular activity schedules occasionally and continuous concentration to detail Sensory - Visual acuity, ability to effectively communicate
