Medication Aide - Traveler
Position: Medication Aide
Lic/Certs: CPR, Medication Aide Certificate
13 week Medication Aide travel assignment
Client in Wyoming is looking for a Medication Aide to help them out for 13 weeks. This is a 12 hourshift position.

Qualifications/Requirements:
One years' experience as a Medication Aide preferred
Current Medication Aide certification
Current CNA State license if required
Current CPR Certification
Other certifications or licenses may be required for this position
Critical thinking, service excellence and good interpersonal communication skills, ability to read/comprehend written instructions, ability to follow verbal instructions, PC skills
Physical Abilities: Remain in a stationary position, move about, move equipment (50-100lbs), Pushing, Pulling, Bending.

Administers medication according to the 5 rights of medication administration
Monitors patient's behavior and reports any change or adverse effect from a medication to the charge nurse
Documents actions by completing forms, reports, logs, and records.
Communicates appropriately to supervising LPN/RN
May perform CNA duties as requested
Follows hospital safety rules and procedures.
Performs other duties as assigned
Must be able to lift 50 pounds
Occasionally performed (1%-33%) – sitting, kneeling, crawling, balancing
Frequently performed (34%-66%) – twisting, stooping, bending, lifting, crouching, carrying
Interpersonal Skills - to work effectively with a variety of personnel (professional and ancillary) to present a positive attitude and a professional appearance.
