Question 1

How much experience do I need for travel EP Tech jobs?

Accepted Answer

Most travel EP Tech positions require one to two years of recent clinical experience. Facilities typically prefer candidates with hands-on experience in electrophysiology procedures, including catheter ablations, device implantations, and diagnostic EP studies. Requirements vary by facility and location, with some assignments accepting newer techs while others seek more specialized backgrounds. Candidates with diverse experience across different EP lab settings and patient populations are especially competitive. Your Fusion recruiter can help match you with assignments that align with your current experience level and clinical strengths, whether you're building foundational skills or seeking complex case exposure.

Accepted Answer

Housing arrangements for travel EP technicians vary by assignment location and contract length. Most travel assignments include furnished housing stipends or direct housing placement through staffing agencies, covering apartments or corporate housing near the facility. Short-term assignments may offer hotel accommodations, while longer contracts often provide apartment leases. Your recruiter will discuss housing options during contract negotiation—some facilities partner with local housing providers to streamline placement. Housing is typically included as part of your compensation package, though specifics depend on the assignment duration, facility location, and your preferences.
