Arkansas participates in the Nurse Licensure Compact (NLC). RNs with multistate NLC licenses where Arkansas is the Primary State of Residence can practice immediately without separate application. RNs licensed in other compact states can practice in Arkansas under compact privilege without additional licensure. Non-compact state RNs must endorse for full Arkansas licensure (2-6 weeks).
