Nevada is NOT a member of the OT Compact. Traveling occupational therapists must obtain a Nevada-specific endorsement license via the Nevada Board of Physical Therapy; temporary licenses are available to allow practice during the 4-12 week endorsement processing period.
Endorsement Process
Nevada uses an online portal endorsement process for occupational therapists already licensed in another state. You'll need to submit your completed application along with supporting documents and the $400 application fee.

License verification is handled through Out-of-state license verification + current NBCOT certification; Nevada-specific Jurisprudence Examination required for standard license. Nevada requires verification from every state where you hold or have held an occupational therapist license, so request verification early to avoid delays.
Background check requirements vary by applicant — confirm the current fingerprinting and screening steps with the Nevada State Board of Occupational Therapy. Where fingerprinting applies, submit your authorization as early as possible, since background check processing is one of the most common sources of delay.

Non-renewal of NBCOT certification during temporary license validity period results in automatic revocation.
