Georgia is a PT Compact member state. Travelers holding an active multistate PT Compact license from another member state can practice immediately in Georgia under compact privilege without applying for a Georgia license. Non-compact members must apply for standard endorsement (4-6 week timeline).
For travelers, this means you can begin a Georgia assignment immediately if your home state is also a PT Compact member and your license is set to multistate status. However, if you establish Georgia residency during your assignment, your compact privilege becomes invalid and you must apply for a Georgia license through endorsement.
