Kentucky is a PT Compact member. Travelers holding active multistate PT Compact licenses from other compact member states can practice immediately in Kentucky under compact privilege without obtaining a separate state license, provided they maintain their primary state licensure.
For travelers, this means you can begin a Kentucky assignment immediately if your home state is also a PT Compact member and your license is set to multistate status. However, if you establish Kentucky residency during your assignment, your compact privilege becomes invalid and you must apply for a Kentucky license through endorsement.
Endorsement Process
