Overview
California is not a member of the ASLP-IC (ASLP Interstate Compact). SLPs must obtain a California-specific license through endorsement from another state or by examination. No multistate reciprocity or compact privileges available.
Endorsement Process
California uses a downloadable license application package (pdf/paper); the 'apply simply' online path does not cover the out-of-state endorsement option endorsement process for speech-language pathologists already licensed in another state. You'll need to submit your completed application along with supporting documents and the $150 application fee.
